I'll start!
I am Lance Pickup. I was a member of AXP, pledged Fall '86, graduated from Clarkson as an Electrical Engineer in 1988. I joined IBM in Burlington, VT after college. I lived there for over 18 years and then moved to Raleigh, NC to be closer to family. I worked for IBM until 2013, and since then I work for a small company, ASIC North, based in Vermont, and I have been in a contract position first to IBM and then to GlobalFoundries since.
I married Tresa (Youngs) Pickup (Phi Kappa Pi, SUNY Potsdam 1987) in 1992. We have two grown boys and one grandson.
I have been involved with the AXP Building Corp / Alumni Board since about 2014, and between that and the fact that my in-laws live just 45 minutes from Potsdam, I do get up there at least once a year.
Tresa and I are Carolina Hurricanes fans and had season tickets until two years ago (when we decided the time commitment was pretty big!) We enjoy camping and traveling and hope to do more of that in a few years after I retire.
